Forage plants: Daisies

These are very popular with parakeets and all plant parts are edible.

They particularly enjoy the yellow flower heads, which are also very healthy due to the bitter substances they contain.

I have noticed that my budgies particularly like the flowers with the pink corolla, i.e. when they are still very young.

You can also offer them the tea¹Infuse for 10 min. made from the leaves or use it as bath water (soothing for minor injuries).
